This Privacy Policy explains the privacy practices of Front Row Labs, LifeChef (“LifeChef”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) when you access our website, www.lifechef.com, (the “Website”) or use the services provided thereon (together with the Website, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share personal information about you when you use our Services, and your rights and choices in connection with this. Collection and Use of Information

We collect information from you through various means when you use our Services.

Information you provide to us:

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, telephone number, zip code, and mailing address. We use this information to create your account and allow you to sign up for our Services. We also use your information to send you emails related to certain features on the Website or to send you news or updates about changes to our Website or the Services. You can update your communication preferences through your online account.

When you take our online survey, we collect your zip code and personal information related to your health (such as your age, gender, whether you are pregnant or breastfeeding, your weight, your height, any food allergies you may have, certain medical diagnoses, whether you are taking any prescription medications, any health complaints you might have, your preferred diet) so that we can provide you with meal plans, staples, and/or supplements that match your criteria.

When you sign up for our Services, we collect your account information as specified above, survey information as specified above, and billing and payment information (including billing address, last four digits of your payment card, and expiration date of your payment card). We use this information to fulfill your orders. We also require you to keep a valid email address and phone number on file so that we can keep you informed on your order, notify you of upcoming orders and cutoff dates for editing your order, notify you if your payment card is about to expire, and provide you with customer support. When you sign up for our newsletter, we collect your email address. We use this information to send you emails related to our Services. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the Unsubscribe button in the bottom of any of our emails or contacting us at the contact details below.

When you sign up for our SMS/text message updates, we collect your phone number. We use this information to send you SMS/text message updates for products and offers that may be of interest to you. You may opt out of receiving these communications at any time by texting “STOP” to 1-855-932-4048. (Your carrier text messaging fees may apply.)

When you contact us, we collect your name, email address, and any other personal information you choose to include in such communications. We use this information to respond to your queries and provide you with any assistance you may request.

When you comment on a blog post, we collect your name, email address, and any other personal information you choose to include in such comment. We use this information to facilitate the comments section on our blog and respond to your comments as we deem necessary.

Information we collect from you automatically:

We automatically collect certain information from you when you access our Services. This includes usage information (which of the pages on our Website you access, the frequency of access, how much time you spend on each page, what you click on while on our Website, when you accessed the Website), your estimated location as may be determined from your IP Address, and device information (such as the hardware model, operating system, application version number, browser, and IP Address(es)). We use this information to analyze and understand how the Website works for customers and visitors and to provide a more personalized experience for customers and visitors.

We aggregate personal information for the purpose of research and benchmarking. For example, we may calculate the percentage of users in a particular ZIP Code.

Social Media Plug-Ins. Our Website includes social media features or plug-ins from third-party services, such as the ability to create an account using your Facebook or Google accounts, as well as to Like or Send a particular page through your social media. Essential Cookies. These cookies are required for making use of our Services. We use essential cookies to authenticate users, prevent fraudulent use of our Services, and protect user data from unauthorized parties. Analytics Cookies. We use a tool called Google Analytics to collect some information we listed above about your use of the Services. We do not combine the information collected through the use of Google Analytics with personally identifiable information. Behavioral Advertising Cookies. Our advertising providers use cookies and web pixels to identify and store behaviors that users take when visiting our Website (such as pages visited and search terms used). These cookies are used in order to: (i) identify you as a prospect for our services; (ii) deliver advertisements that are more relevant to you and your interests; (iii) limit the number of times you see an advertisement; as well as (iv) help measure the effectiveness of the advertising campaign.   • We use Criteo, Bing Ads (Microsoft), AdRoll (NextRoll), and Pinterest.   • We use Facebook Pixel to customize our advertising and to serve you ads on your social media based on your browsing behavior. This allows your behavior to be tracked after you have been redirected to our website by clicking on the Facebook ad. The Facebook Pixel stores a cookie on your computer to enable us to measure the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes. We do not have access to the personal information collected through the Facebook Pixel. However, the information collected via the Facebook Pixel, on our Website as well as other websites on which Facebook Pixel is installed, is also stored and processed by Facebook. Facebook may link this information to your Facebook account and also use it for its own promotional purposes in accordance with Facebook’s Data Usage Policy. Controlling Your Information

Access, correct, or delete your information. You may access, correct, or delete your account information at any time through your user profile on the Website.

Delete your information. If you no longer wish to use LifeChef’s Services, including no longer receiving service-related messages, you can delete your account through your user profile on the Website or email us at hello@lifechef.com.

All Cookies. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. The help feature on most browsers provides information on how to accept cookies, disable cookies, or to notify you when receiving a new cookie. If you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use all of the features we offer, you may not be able to store your preferences, and some of our pages might not display correctly.

Online advertising generally. Some mobile devices provide options to opt out of behavioral advertising, such as the “Limit Ad Tracking” setting on iOS devices or setting to “Opt out of Interest-Based Ads” on Android devices. You can opt out of certain behavioral advertisements by clicking on the “Ad Choices” icon or visiting www.optout.aboutads.info. To opt out of interest based advertising generally or to learn more about the use of this information by our service providers you can visit the Network Advertising Initiative or the Digital Advertising Alliance. Please note that these actions will not opt you out of being served advertising. You will continue to receive generic ads.

Google Analytics. You can control the information provided to Google and opt out of certain ads provided by Google by using any of the methods set forth here or using the Google Analytics opt out browser add-on here.

Criteo, Bing Ads, AdRoll. You can opt out of these services or update your ad settings for these services at the following links: Criteo, Bing Ads, AdRoll.

Pinterest. You can opt out of online behavioral advertising through your Pinterest personalization settings, through the Digital Advertising Alliance here (if you use the Pinterest tag), or their mobile ad identifier settings (if you share app activity data with Pinterest).

Facebook Pixel. You can opt out of displaying Facebook ads by visiting your Facebook Ad Settings, and you can clear and control the information third parties share with Facebook in your Off-Facebook Activity page. If you do not have a Facebook account, you can opt out of Facebook ads through the Digital Advertising Alliance here.

Emails. LifeChef may contact you about our services or your activity. Some of these messages are required, transaction-related message to customers. Other messages are not required, such as our newsletters, and you can control which optional messages you choose to receive by changing your settings in your account. You can also unsubscribe at any time from our promotional messages by clicking the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of each such email. If you unsubscribe from promotional messages, we will continue to send you emails necessary to the Website or your LifeChef account.

SMS/Text Message Opt-Out. With your consent, LifeChef may send you promotional offers and marketing through SMS/text messages. You can opt out of these messages at any time by texting “STOP” to 1-855-932-4048. After you opt out, we will send you a confirmation message that you have successfully unsubscribed.

What Information We Share

We share your information with certain third parties, including our service providers that facilitate our Services, and as necessary to comply with our legal obligations.

Service Providers. We share information with service providers that help us perform Website functions and administer our Services, including but not limited to fulfilling orders, processing payments, handling billing disputes and collection, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance, addressing security, fixing errors, shipping products, maintaining accounts, and providing customer service.

LifeChef does not control the privacy policies of third parties, and you are subject to the privacy policies of those third parties where applicable. Data Retention

LifeChef will retain your information only for as long as is necessary to accomplish the purpose for which it was provided or until you delete your account. LifeChef may retain your information for longer periods for specific purposes to the extent that we are obliged to do so in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and/or as necessary to protect our legal rights or for certain business requirements.

A SPECIAL NOTE TO PARENTS OR LEGAL GUARDIANS

This Website and our Services are not intended for individuals under the age of eighteen (18) years. Accordingly, we do not knowingly collect or share information from children without parental or guardian consent. If you have reason to believe that a child under the age of sixteen (16) has provided personal information to us, please contact us using the information below, and we will delete that information from our databases.

NOTICE TO CALIFORNIA CUSTOMERS – YOUR CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS

Neither the Website nor the Services are intended to render, and do not render, any type of health care or health care-related services to any user. All health-related information LifeChef collects from you through the Services is provided by you on a voluntary basis and will not be protected by HIPAA. Similarly, no information created by LifeChef in connection with the Services (whether or not disclosed to you) will be protected by HIPAA.
